Should I get MacBook or IMac?

Hi All,

Im not a regular user, i plan to use mac to develop applications for Iphone/Ipod and mac itself.

I see that Imac has a large monitor and nice set of feats, whereas Macbook is a laptop and i can carry it around and i can hook up my home monitor to it and continue to work.

The pricing is almost the same, MacBook Pro is nice and all but i am not looking for it as its at least 2,000.

It all depends, if the imac has features that you want that the macbook doesn't, get the imac.  If you want the option of portability, get the macbook.  Are you going to be traveling a lot? if not, get the imac.

i think the macbook is the best desciosion.....it IS portable, and you can have the same software as a desk top......DEFINATLY the macbook is a beeter choice

Usually a top-of-the-line desktop is faster and has more features than a laptop. The iMac does come with a wireless card so you can put it anywhere and you can move it if you need to. Unless you really need the portability the iMac would probably be best. Be sure to order the most computer you can afford, adding extra hard drive, memory, etc.
