Should I get a 26 oz or 28 oz softball bat

I only weigh 165lbs. Would the lighter bat be better for me

Is this for fast pitch or slow pitch??

If its fastpitch, I would say go with a 22-23 ounce bat, you will get a much faster swing and reaction time.

EDIT: since it is for slow pitch, you should go with a 26-28 Ounce bat. This size should realy be comfortable to swing based on your size

Slow pitch is 28 oz and fast pitch is 26 oz for a faster pitch.

Slow pitch 27 ounce or 28 ounce fast pitch anywhere from 22-24 ounces......ive played slow pitch for a looonnggg time and i know most bats a see used that are good for everyone is 27 ounces including all 4 of my bats.
