Should I get a 3g iphone or a blackjack?

The 3G iPhone because it's able to change format for application. It is lacking somethings but if you don't know about them you won't really miss them. Most of those things missing can be fixed using 3rd party applications that you can download (legally). If you're not on AT&T though it'll be hard for you to use it. I'd suggest you just go with the Blackjack if you're on a contract already to another company. You can technically unlock your iphone and use it on any network by law (yes legally, you have to figure out how to, Apple and AT&T are not required to tell you how or to do it) but Apple and AT&T have worked it out and required that you activate it instore this time so it'll be majorly difficult to unlock it. Knowing people though it'll happen but it'll take a while. Knowing this new system they're using for unlocking and the completely new software locks Apple is putting on the 3G iPhone, I would guess you'd have to wait until November for somebody to crack the system and probably April before it's released to the public and then Apple cna just send out a software update and that hack can no longer be used.
