Should I get a 600cc bike?

Question

I realize a 600cc bike is not the smartest first bike to get as a beginner biker. I realize it's a VERY fast bike. but I simply really like the way the honda cbr 600RR looks and feels when I sit on it. I don't like any others.

I don't plan on goin fast on it, nor do I plan on doing any stunts. I will be taking a motorcycle safety class soon (not with a 600cc bike). would it be enough? opinions please!

get an old triumph and fix it up.  In the mean time get a bike and get used to riding on the street.

I didn't know they now measure bicycles in cc's. This isn't one of the motorcycle sections.

Most of the cyclists that post in this category probably know more about bicycles than motorcycles. Try asking in the motorcycle category.
