Should I get a Blackberry ???

Question

I really want a blackberry but my dad said no.

he can get it on a contract for £40 a month and I'm willing to half my pocket money to help him with the cost . I get £40 a week (£10 a month)

I really want the "BlackBerry 8310" is it worth getting it ??

I am 14 going 15!

Is it just a "work persons" phone or what ?

please help me also how could I convince my dad to get me it.

I am alrealy using the excuse - "my phone is broken, I really really need a new one anyway"

YES!!! Of course you should, they're awesome! I just got a Blackberry Curve about 2 months ago and I love it and after showing it off to my friends one went a got one the next week and two are going to get one (when they can).

Its a good phone, yes alot of "work people" use them, thats because they are so handy, but its just as nice for regular people, the internet is nice, you can get your email sent right to you phone and there is also instant messaging which i really like (regular text messaging is there too).

Anyway I could go on but I'll finish by saying its a good phone, calls quality is very good, its easy to hear people that your talking to, and the full keyboard is nice if you do alot of text messaging (it takes a little while to get used to).  Well, I know its a little one sided but I hope it helps
