Should I get a Canadian Maple skateboard deck?

Ok simple question should i get a canadian maple deck or is canadian maple c**p if it is c**p what type of wood should my new deck be my friend said american hardwood is the best but yea canadian maple is cheaper so yea.. canadian maple or american hardwood??

canadian maple is light and flexable but may snap if you try a boardslide

american hard wood is heavy so you wont get enough air to do serton things

so it depends on the skater but i would suggest the canadian maple

Yes,canadian maple is the best,that's what all the good companys ise and its the strongest.make sure when you buy a deck it is a 7 ply canadian maple deck.
