Should I get a Delta skymiles card?

Well I like to travel a lot, and I want a credit card that has the skymiles and stuff, so is this what I should get

Do you think you will ever get enough benefits to recover the $150 annual fee? Also, these airline cards tend to have very high interest rates (this one is 14.99%, which is pretty high)

It's really not worth it. The only people who benefit from sky miles are those who travel monthly on business to a variety of destinations. I think to get a free ticket, you have to have about 30,000 (someone correct me if i am wrong). The average leisurely traveler does not do this. You should check on delta's website and see what their redemption rules are because I think your mile are only good for like a year or two. Even if they give you one mile for every dollar spent, you would still have to spend like $30,000 to get enough miles to get a ticket. That is not worth it when you can get a plane ticket for about $300.  Plus the $150 annual fee like the other user said is not worth it. The average person should not get a credit card that charges an annual fee because even if you don't use the card. you are always in debt. In a  year, you will have spent $1800 even if you didn't use the card to purchase items for yourself. This is a design for AMEX to have continual residual income, even when people aren't spending.

I had one for six years and just dropped it.  Delta's FF program is not very good.  It's so hard to use the miles and the annual fee is too high.

There are other cards that are better.  Now I have an Amex with no annual fee that gives me 3% back on gasoline purchases and 1% on everything else.  I don't care what the interest rate is since I pay it in full each month.  If you don't, be sure to watch the rate.
