Im debating between these cams, and ivbe already asked others opinions on Y! answers and it looks like mosat people recoemed the D80. I didnt really want to spend that much but i suppoze I could pay for the D80. I know the tech in the D80 is less than that found in the D60 but if I wait for a D90, will it be more expensive, larger, and if more expensive how much....

Just what some of your ideas since I know some pro photographers are here

Thanks :)

  1. Wait til the nikon d90 because it is gonna be better than all the others it might cost more but i am sure it is worth it

  2. Neither, get a Canon.

    Powershot A630 to be exact.

  3. all SLR cameras are basically the same, only the lenses make a difference but if u really want the D90 wait for it and get that to make u happy

  4. If you buy the D40 you will be able to afford more lenses.  Lenses it the key to the system, where as you know, you will be wanting to change bodies in three to five years.

Since you are buying an adjustable camera, it may take you a few years before you learn how to use all the features ... on the D40, so owning a D90 wouldn't do much but make your task more difficult unless you already have some lenses and experience using some kind of SRL or DSLR already

  5. Wait for the D90.. things change so fast.. you'll want the D90.

  6. Dude

    Wait

    GET THE 90

    You cant go wrong.

But if you ahve to have it now, go with the 80

    GOOD LUCK
