Should I get a Nissan or Toyota? Which make and model is the best reliable car?

I am purchasing my first car (used) in November, which should I choose?? I get positive feedback all the time about Nissan's and Toyota's but kind of stuck on which to get. Please provide the make and model that you suggest. Thank you! : - )

You CANT go wrong with either of them! Each has their goods and bads but overall... they are great with fuel, space, comfort, and most of all... inexpensive repair cost! I hope you enjoy your new "used" car!

I would buy a Nissan they are both equally dependable. I think the Nissans are nicer on the inside. The Altima is there #1 selling car. If I didn't have kids, I would buy a Nissan Altima Coupe.

Nissan Sentra they are great on gas.

Nissan car has more spacious interior and it's airconditioning system is more efficient than any other car but for Toyota if you like styling more better choose toyota

Both Good, although I have to say, Toyota Camry. They last FOREVER.

Nissan, though don't get ANY Nissan with a 2.5 liter engine because the QR25DE is prone to failure. If you can try to find Nissans with 2.4, 3.0 or 3.5 liter engines. That encompasses all of Nissans V6s which have always been reliable and the KA24DE which used to be Nissan's most common inline 4 and proved reliable during it's over 15 years of being used in Nissan's cars and trucks.
