Should I get a PS3 80G for $240 or not?

Question

A friend of mine will give me a ps3 for said price.

I want one but not oober bad...its sort of a "ill live without one but id be kinda cool to get one" deal.

I figured id get it because even though its not a MUST have item for me now, maybe sometime in the future id want one real bad, and this opportunity wont be around forever [only another week]

But anyways, should I get it anyways even though i dont want one real bad? If i dont get it now, and get it later, it'll be around $500 so....what do u think?

definately get it

i don't have one but if someone offered it for that it be a great deal, and if you aren't interested in the games, then you'd have a $240 blu-ray player which is a great deal, so yes get it

Actually you dnt have to worry about the price going up. Wait huh? the PS3 80gb is NOT going to be $500. It was announced at E3 that the 80gb is actually having a price drop to the original 40 gb's price. But the price drop is not going to be as low as what you're friends giving it to you for. And with all the exclusive titles coming out for ps3 this year and others years to come, I'd take that deal. Just make sure the system works b4 you do so. Check to see if Bluray's work, internet access, and other things. The offer seems suspicious. Anyway if you do get it, enjoy fun games like: Little Big Planet, Uncharted, MGS4, Tekken 6, Resistance1&2, FF Versus 13, White Knight Chronicles, God of war 3, War Devil, Red Dead Revolver 2, Killzone 2, Motorstorm 1&2, Jak and Daxter the lost frontier, Sly 4, InFamous, Ratchet and Clank FTOD, heavenly sword, siren blood curse, HOME (a virtual gaming communtity) and Play TV. These are only half of the exclusive things you get with PS3 and not on any other systems. If you do take the offer (which I hope you do) add me to your online friends list. that is a good deal considering it cost $500 and  price drops are 100% unlikely to happen, only buy it if it comes with  everything,

also try barganing with him, he might cave into a smaller price and save u money...
