Should I get a Vespa instead of a car?

Question

I'm a commuter student who has to drive only a couple of miles to school. Do you own a Vespa? Are used Vespas good to buy?

Pros/Cons, please? Thank you.

Vespa's are sweet! It will definitely be cheaper but you know the obvious downfalls. As much as you would like to think differently, it will be difficult to even go grocery shopping with this vehicle. Picking up a date...we shouldn't even talk about that one! Aside from these cons, I love the idea! Consider a Honda SuperCub while you're at it! They are not sold in the U.S. anymore but you can still find them sometimes. They get nearly 170 MPG so you might have to take long Sunday drives to use up the old gas before it goes bad. lol
