  1. If you have to ask that question, don't get one; You wouldn't make a good pet owner.

  2. I have 2 kittens and I can't see myself ever getting sick of them. I look forward to coming home and they are there. When I feel alone and upset they do something funny or cute and it makes it all better.

So, my res ponce to your question is No I don't think you'll get sick of it.

  3. If you have doubt in your mind at all that you'll get sick of it, don't do it.  There are too many animals already whose owners got tired of them and ended up in shelters. It's a big responsibility and you have to really want to do it.

  4. if you are already thinking about getting "sick of it" don't put a cat through that. don't get a cat till you are more responsible.

  5. No way! I got a kitten and often though that I wouldn't enjoy her as much when she was full grown. Now she's 3 years old and I love her just as much!

  6. you should, get a cat they are very loving cats and you dont have to do much to make it happy.

it all depends if your an animal person or not.

  7. if it is a big floppy cat i wuld enjoy it if u kno wat i mean eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh ya

  8. idk but dont put it in your microwave its a big mess

  9. I don't know you well enough to say (actually I don't know you at all).

Have you ever had a pet before? Did you get sick of it?

Surely you know someone who has a cat. Maybe they will let you spend a little time with it to help you decide. But if you do think you're going to get sick of the cat, it's best for you not to get one in the first place.

  10. It all depends on what kind of person you are! ^_^ A dog requires LOTS of attention and caring for. They are A LOT more playful than cats and would do anything to please it's owner. A cat is more loving, calm, and playful....when it wants to be playful. It requires a lot less to take care of them as well. But if the cat doesn't want to play then it will just ignore you if you want to play with it.

    ~It all depends~

  11. Cat's aren't exactly high maintenance.  They don't cling to you ALL the time like dogs do.  Sometimes, they go off and do their own thing. You will find that every time a cat graces YOU with his/her presence, YOU are the one being blessed, not them.  The only downside is that p**p box.  You'll love your cat, but dread the box.  Just think of it as looking for buried treasure... stinky buried treasure.

I agree with the one poster though.  If you aren't sure if you'll get sick of it, don't get a cat right now.

  12. have you got the time for a kitten? what breed do you want? some are more demanding than others, lap cat? playful cat? vocal cat? my cat is part siamese so it 'talks' to me and is LOUD and demands my attention now! my other one is part bengal climb EVERYTHING and loves water! out doorcat  indoor cat? can you afford insurance? trust me after spending 15k on my cat cos its ill its worth getting!

some cats can live 20years + have you got 20years or is this a 'phase' that when you get bored if you get a female cat when it starts 'calling' at 6 months and wakes you up...then the money to get them spayed ASAP will you then get fed up and re-home her?

its up to you really but if your already thinking 'will i get fed up with 'IT'

then id say no, get a nintendo DS and  get a game where you look after cats & dogs!! see how you go from there if you get fed up! :)

  13. Any pet is a life commitment.  It's not unheard of for a cat to live more than 20 years.  If you think you are not ready for this it would be best to wait.

    Good Luck!

  14. dont listen to everyone, we have a cat and its horrible the only time its nice is when it wants food. She hates everyone and doesnt like to be held or pet. and she sits around all day. She doesnt show effection at all unless your giving her food. Sometimes she purrs but thats about it. I would get a dog....

  15. Please visit a vet's office and ask about the cost of medical care before you think about it any further.

We got a cast-off 6 month kitten from someone who still loved it but was totally shocked at the cost of vets and premium food (which saves money in the long run). She'd never taken him to a vet and he had two parasites. All cats and dogs need to be spayed or neutered, and receive annual check-ups and vaccinations. Sometimes they pee on the beds and furniture. They ALWAYS claw up the furniture even with scratching posts. You can get away with no vaccinations only if it's kept 100% indoors.

We have three cats only because we can afford to take appropriate care of them, and are experts in cleaning the sofa.
