Should I get a job Moving out 1-2 months?

I really need a job im 18, finished Highschool...

I bought a car already, and I bought a laptop with side work with my cousin,

I got about 800 saved up... I really want to buy a cellphone like LG dare, 60$ monthly bill. Parents not gonna help on that b/c they didnt help my bros and sis.

Anyways I start College in about 1-2 months about 35 miles from home,, I plan on moving out there in a apartment.

SHould i try to get a job now or get one when i move

  1. You know the answer to that question. #1 you have a car, that your going to need to pay for (gas,insurance,maintenance,plates,ect) Your school is only 35 miles from home? I drive that commute daily, get a job!! Put some money back,get ahead, expect the unexpected. Tell them ahead of time you want full time but when school starts, you will need to adjust your hours. Tell them that in advance and make sure that is ok with the company that employs you. Keep up the side job too!! Bank what you can bank, school is more then you think as well as an apartment,utilities,deposits. Just plan ahead, been there done this!!! Trust me!!!!-SHAN:)


  2. I give u this advise w8 till u get a job when u move cause for example i have a job and just say if i quit a few weeks later it will look bad on ur application or resume, so trust me man w8 u will thank me later and also if u w8 u will have a better chance getting a job. Hope this helps!
