Should I get a new car stereo?

Question

I am thinking about getting a new car stereo, but I dont know if I should. I currently just have a broken tape deck in my 95 nissan pickup, and i kind of want a cd deck. However, the main reason to get a new stereo would be for my ipod, and a few cd's ( which i can easily just put on my ipod)

I am getting a new ( or used) car, in a couple years for college, and I dont know if I should just wait it out.

Should I just get a FM Transmitter (thinking about the DLO models) or should i upgrade the car stereo.

P.S. I probably would not be changing out the 2( i think) speakers I have, or should I?

yeah.  and you prollyonly have 2 speakers btw, those trucks are tiny.  it'd be cheap to replace them with a decent brand. less than 200 for nice *** ones

go for it, when you get your new car you can easily put it in there. and 150 bux can get you a nice stereo.

as for hd or xm radio if you need hundreds of radio stations then get it i personaly think its a waste of $10 a month

Buy a New Radio

Kenwood  138  basic radio has a msrp price of $79.00

it will play CDs and has a head phone jack in the front of the detachable face so you can plug in a iPod,mp3 or anything with a head phone jack.  

(you will need a head phone jack to head phone jack cable from the 99cent store, it will work just fine)

a local stereo shop, during a slow mid week will jump at a $100.00 Cash, installed, no tax deal...
