Should I get a new job or go on welfare please help ?

I have quit two jobs in the last month due to panic attacks ...my doctor has put on medicine to help ...I really need money to pay for it ,I'm not sure if I would panic at a new job what should I do?

Work sucks. Go on welfare and hang out. Although, in order to get the big money you need a couple kids.

you can try to get disability while you get better.  research the disability laws and welfare rules.  Often you can get financial aid and/or welfare while you go to school (you can take online courses so you don't have to worry about panic attacks) but usually you have to be enrolled before you apply for aid or they will not let you go to school.

I worked for years with panic attacks.  I simply told my boss that I suffered from anxiety and panic attacks and he let me use his office or the bathroom for privacy while I had attacks which usually only last 30 minutes at the most and then I would go back to work.  I have kids and could not afford not to work.  It was hard but people can be very understanding.

If your panic attacks are keeping you from a steady job, then talk to your doctor.  You need to work on some strategies to control your anxiety so that you can keep a job.  In the meantime, you MAY qualify for temporary disability.  Speak to your doctor about how to proceed.  Good luck.

I thought you were a virgin at 25, then how would you go on welfare, welfare is for women/men with kids..

I think you need to go on SSI or welfare for the time being so you can get used to the medicine and work on controlling your panic attacks.  I have a friend with the same problem so I know even a stress free job doesn't always work.  It may help though to get a job that a friend or someone you know works at because it may help ease your anxiety to have someone you know nearby.

There is NOTHING wrong with you!

I am the same way - never kissed, had a date, etc...

I'm 18, and I got so far on my education because of this, that I am a teacher in a public school already!!!

So don't worry... its awesome how both you and I are virgins and are not using ourselves as s***s to please unknown men.

Why don't you get a stress free job that will work with your anxiety.  If it gets to where you absolutely can't work then consider getting disability, but welfare is basically like unemployment and eventually you will run out of welfare.  Disability wont run out and it is a better source of income.  Try working behind a desk, or maybe like the post office.

sounds like you should try to get disability. The more you work now, the less your chance of getting a job in the future. It looks bad when you have a lot of jobs in a short period of time. Ask your MD about disabilty. he would have to say that you were not able to work. then hire an attorney. DO NOT attempt it on your own. It's hard enough to get it without one. It takes about 3-4 years with one & without it some people don't get it at all. Welfare is fine if you can't work. Ignore these people who say "get a job" they are the ones who do not understand. I also have mental illness and panic attacks. they are real. On the other hand, the more jobs you have, the easier it is to get a disability check (it proves to them you are trying to work). I would talk to your MD and get his advice

Panic attacks right sounds more like someone trying to rip off the system. cannot handle any pressure or change no what you need to do is look at yourself, and your shortcomings and learn to deal with life. Everybody is always looking for an excuse for their behavior, or lack of accomplishments when in reality they only need to look at themselves, and take responsibility for themselves, instead of making excuses.  Get a grip and get control over your life.
