Should I get a nose job?

Question

So basically a load of people say I shouldn't have a nose job or even think about having one. But recently I've become really self conscious and quite obsessive about the size of my nose. I know there are people out there with way bigger issues than the size of there nose so don't lecture on me about being self centered, because to me it is quite a big deal.

and yes I know surgery seems such a drastic thing to do - which I understand not everyone agrees with, but it would only be a slight change and having it done would help my confidence tons!

Anyway, here is a picture of the profile of my face so you can decide for yourself. Just be honest about it because you are all entitled to an opinion :)

no. i definately don't think you need a nosejob. i actually really like your nose. plus, a lot of people aren't happy with their results and it comes out looking worse. your nose isn't big at all

Nah..you don't need a nose job.  You look like all the people in my family,  and most of us live with it.  (Except for my daughter, and she got a deal)  Now about that receiding chin. . . .

DON'T!!!!!

You have a great nose!

It's doesn't have a hump in it and isn't too round!!!!

If your nose were smaller it would be too small for your face.

If getting a nose job was free/cheap, I might encourage you to get one. But, obviously, because it's not free/cheap I don't think it would be worth it. Your nose isn't too atrocious.

no your nose is beautiful... i would die to have bigger nose like yours... and do you know that lots and lots of asian people get lots of nose jobs to have nose like yours... and let me repeat it again your nose is gorgeous..

Why yes, I would do it again. I've had five. I fell three stories and had to have my nose operated on. The third or fourth time one of my Dr.'s made a comment like "your going to look 7 years younger. Well He was right.  If I wanted to have it done again I couldn't. He's no longer practicing in the States. Just make sure the person is Board certified and will give you strong pain Melds. One thing, Afterwords you'll get some anti-biotic cream to put on your stitches, make sure to use it all. and Keep it clean with Hydrogen Pr oxide. If you don't you may end pu with an uneven surface.

i would kill for your nose. my nose is on the bigger size

it has like a rounded ball on the end

you can't ask strangers to help you make this choice

nose jobs are very serious

ii've done alot of research (been considering one too)

its a really gross surgury. and it hurts like a ***** after.

the swelling goes down mostly after 2 weeks. and you basically can't do anything for those 2 weeks casue if anythign touching your nose. it'll break. really easily

its a veyr lengthly recovery time

you have to decide if your that unhappy. remember its just a nose.

I PERSONALLY DON'T THINK YOUR NOSE IS BIG AT ALL.BUT YOU ARE THE PERSON WHO NEEDS TO BE PLEASED WITH YOUR FEATURES.SOMETIMES PEOPLE TRY TO HARD TO CONFORM AND TRY TO BE PERFECT.

your nose is a little large, but i think thats what makes you unique. youre a pretty girl, and the nose doesnt make it different. its all about how you see yourself--do you hide or are you so embarassed that you cant function normally? plastic surgery shouldnt be about what you want others to think of you, its about how you view yourself. personally, i dont think you should do it but if you think you really would feel better and more confident of yourself then maybe you should look into it.

You should get a nose job ONLY IF you have difficulty breathing. If you can breathe ok, then forget the nose job.  In fact, DON'T CHANGE A THING!!

However, if you go against all this good advice, then go to the best plastic surgeon you can find.  You deserve the best.
