Should I get a pair of spectacles for my daughter?

she keeps complaining that she can't see the blackboard in school. I've got her eyes checked and she got a degree of 125 and 175. oh and she's ten.

  3. If she can't see the blackboard she can't learn.

    If you want her to fall behind, get frustrated and possibly start missing school then don't get her glasses.

    Also in the meantime contact the school and request she get seated as close as possible to the front until she gets her glasses.

  4. Yes, that Rx, if -ve, is going to be useful at least on occasion.  There's no need for them to be worn all the time, and unless they result in happier closework at a longer distance, they should be avoided for prolonged reading etc.

    She should be allowed to decide how much she wants to wear them.

    The advice above is what would generally apply and  is provisional against her examiner issuing something more specific, having more information.


  5. I was her age when I started becoming unable to see the blackboard in class. Within a short time, I was wearing glasses.
