I was just wondering if it was worth the $70 or $80 to get a 3 year extended warranty?

  1. Magnavox is a third-tier television line. You wont be able to get parts or repairs like you could with a Samsung, Sony, Pioneer, or even Sharp.

While I normally avoid extended warranty's - I would actually get one because of the low-quality of this line of televisions.

Make sure the warranty includes full replacement.

  2. extended warranties are a bad investment. stores push them so hard because many times there is more profit in selling you the extended warranty then they do th tv. save all the money you would have spent on extended warranties and if something does go wrong then get it fixed yourself

  3. for 70-80 bucks why not?  if u want to protect your investment for that price, its seems like a no brainer.  what i do normally if i can buy something if it breaks without worry, then i for go the warranty.  if i buy something that i can't replace out of my checking account then normally i get the warranty.  a service call alone will cost you what they are charging for the warranty.

  4. YES YOU SHOULD!!
