Should I get an iPod Touch even if I don't have wifi in my house?

I really want an iPod Touch for christmas (2008) but I don't have wifi in my house. Is it really worth buying the Touch even if I don't have wifi?

there might be wifi connection around ur house

of course!

With the new 2.0 software, you can download games off itunes and play it on the ipod touch. I really don't think the Wi-fi is necessary because you can just search the internet and check your emails online. Plus the keyboard for it is really tiny and hard to use.
