Should I get highlights?

I'm thinking of getting highlights for the first time, but I was wondering--about how much will it cost to get them and will it be a hassle to maintain them? Also, how often do I need to get touch-ups and about how much will it cost to do so? I think I should get it done in a salon because I wouldn't know how to do it with a home kit...but is doing it at home easy and a better idea? Please help!

Get it done in salon. It is better. It cost about $50-$100. Good luck :)

Highlights are about $50-80 it depends where you get them done. It may be less than that if you go to a Hair Cuttery. They look cute but you have to take good care of your hair after. They tend to make it dry. Hair roots start growing and that is when you will need to get a touch-up.

If you can find a color that blends in with your hair color (not bleached ones) that would be better.

well my friend gets them done at a fancy salon and she gets touch ups once a year and i dont think that there that hard at all to maintain them
