Question:

Should I get it pierced?

I turn 18 on Saturday and I want to get either my nose or lip pierced. I can't decide which one. I have the same amount of people that say nose and the same amount that say lip. What do you think?

Honestly neither, but if u have to get something pierced then go with ur nose. How are u going to kiss someone with a lip ring:)

I think nose too.

I have my lip done but I think it might be a bit much on you right now (ex, as a first piercing). It could just be the picture, though.

Lip rings are annoying while healing - original Listerine 7+ times a day for over a month isn't very nice! Beyond that, cleaning the actual piercing shouldn't be much different.

And kissing with lip piercings is just fine, to the person who asked about it. Right now I have a ring (I was told it was the easiest to keep clean, and I only have my lip pierced a month ago) and it's definitely different, but unless your lip is still sore from piercing, it doesn't hurt or anything. I was super curious about that and conducted some in-depth research as soon as I was allowed to kiss people again.. I work at a grocery store full of people who ask about that, and it was pretty fun having an answer after two weeks of "I dunno". :p

I think you look more like a nose-piercing type of girl. You look cute and trendy, I think it would fit you better.

Don't get pierced just to get pierced.

When I was a freshman in college I got my tongue pierced, just because I could. Now, 4 years later, i am 22 and haven't worn my ring in a year and a half. I have a scar on my tongue, that is luckily in my mouth where no one can see.

It was a nice experience getting out there an stretching my wings, but now I am stuck with a constant reminder of my choices when I was 18. At least piercings are removable, but just keep in mind that when you take them out at 25 or 30 that there will be a scar. And if I were you, I wouldn't want it on my face.

I loved my tongue ring when I had it. But I hate the scars.

Just keep that in mind, whatever you get!

NOSE NOSE NOSE NOSE NOSE!!!!! ..I really don't think you could pull off a lip ring, and you don't look like the lip ring type ..

so a TINY nose stud, there soo cute.. and I love mine.. and I think a small nose stud would look good on anyone, but only certain people can pull off a lip ring :).

I'd say nose. You look very cute and I think a nose piercing would fit you very well. This is just my opinion, but I think lip rings look a bit trashy, and I think they would get annoying!

Start off small with the nose and get a nostril s***w stud. If it heals well and you really like it, then go for the lip. I have a nose and monroe piercing. They both healed fine for me and I love them along with my eyebrow and bellybutton.

I think either of them would look good on you...ive got my nose pierced(nostril) and i really like it...it tends to look great on everybody who gets it done as long as its in the right spot.But this is really up to you i thought about it for months before i actually got it pierced...and i asked my closest friends and my mom for their opinions.
