I saw this puppy looking for a home's ad, and the puppy looks so cute! I love dogs and had a couple when I was a kid but the thing is that I'm away the whole day during weekdays, leave at 7/8 am and come back at night 8/9 pm, but if I get it I wanna take good care of it? I wanna know your opinion thanks a lot!

  1. well up to u but for that long nahhh

  2. The puppy is going to need more care and attention than that.  And yes puppies are cute, but did you take into consideration how big the puppy is going to get, or how demanding the breed of the puppy is?  That being said, if you do get the puppy, please enroll it in a doggie daycare until it is older and can be left alone.

  3. Puppies are a huge commitment. If you are gone for 12 hours a day there is no way to housebreak, socialize, or train the pup effectively. I assume you will love the dog and the companionship it would bring to your life, but if you are gone it would be missing out on YOUR companionship. :(

Can you find a doggy daycare, neighbor, friend, etc to help take care of the pup while you are away?

  4. if you are not going 2 be home, then there is no point, a puppy needs around the clock attention, i advise you, dont get the dog, it needs a family that will be able to take care of it, an i 10o0% ddisagree with the person who said take him to a kennel, because what is the point of having a dog if he will only b locked up In a cage all day, that's not a happy life, plz, b nice and dont buy him, i know u want him, or her, but its 4 it's own good, OK? i hope i helped!

  5. That is far too long to leave a puppy.  Puppies have to be let out to potty every 1-2 hours.  And young dogs need a midday meal.  If you don't come home until 8 or 9 you wouldn't even be able to feed it dinner.  Being gone 12+ hours during the day is not really conducive to dog ownership.  Even with doggie daycare and dog walkers you simply aren't home enough to train this dog.

And all puppies are cute, but we must think of what is best for them, not what we want.

  6. Don't do it unless you contact a pet care service and some friends who could help and work out all those messy details before you get the puppy.  I'm sure it's really cute, but remember it will be a lot of work and won't always be so small.  Puppies that age need a lot of care and bonding, so see if you can take a couple days off at the beginning and talk to the owner if you need to.  It sounds like you have some dog experience, so that's good- if you're sure you won't be leaving for trips soon, can afford all the care, and are willing to open up your home and train the little guy, go for it.  Hope this helps, and if you get him, good luck with the little guy!

  7. First question you got to ask yourself is, are you ready to take care a puppy? Puppies in other words are like babies, when you leave babies home all day long without looking after it....you can be in serious trouble.  Same thing goes for puppies, when  you leave them at home all alone..they get bored and cause trouble such as breaking things, tearing up furniture, digging holes on the ground in backyard..etc.  Bottom line is,  I wouldn't suggest on getting the pup if your not going to be gone for the whole day.  If you want one really bad, your other options are you can take it to the puppy daycare center.

  8. I would not` t it`s not fair to the dog  I`d get one when your not so busy because puppies need to play and go for walks etc.

  9. You can get the puppy, If you leave home early you a=can certainly feed them early. So, if you are lonely  go get the  puppy!

  10. I'm sure theres a doggy day care you could take it
