  1. Your hand will only hurt about a month after you start handball. Keep playing and the hurt will subside. Prior to a game, soak your hands in hot water for a few minutes to get the blood padding on your fingers. NEVER get padded gloves. Those are for sissified racketball players

  2. yes

  3. Ya, you should they really help to grip the ball.

  4. Padding is fine.  You need to be comfortable or you won't hit the ball the way you intend.  You would be trying to avoid painful contact with the ball, which causes misses.

I use cotton liners with unpadded gloves.  These help to keep the glove dry, too.  If my hands are hurting I use liners and two pairs of gloves.  You can get work gloves to go over your handball gloves.  Protect your hands, we need all the players we can get.

  5. start w/ gloves n gradually start playing w/out then.

  6. they can get in the way of accuracy. but it makes your hand hurt less i guess. its really up to you, be a hardcore rebel and deal with the pain or be a puss and get the padded
