Should I get the PSP or Wii

Question

My dad asked me if I wanted the PSP or the Wii. If I get the PSP my brother gets my ds. If I get the wii everyone just shares it. Im not sure which one i should get plz help me. Best answer 10 points.

get a wii then tell your brother to get a PSP for his birthday or christmas or whatever because you already have a handheld and a Ds is better than a PSP anyways.  just get a game you like and no one else does.  unless your whole family is a gaming family it won't really be that big of a deal.  everyone will love it when you get it but then you will keep playing it and everyone else won't.

Bro honestly, between the psp or wii. Pick the wii. Think about it. Your choosing a home system that can be used on a big screen, and do more things, to a handheld. and if you already have a ds, you dont really need another handheld. So id stick with the wii.

Wii!!!! i have both but i am very happy with mym Wii. the psp is okay but i like the wii better the gaqmes are great! also psp doesnt have many games

get the wii! there's so many different ways to control the games and it's just more fun and interactive than playing with your thumbs. there's steering wheels, wii gun controllers, wii fit...

also i've found the wii to be more fun when you have people over... you can do wii bowling, golf, etc.

I have both and like playing both the wii is good to play with other people and the wii fit is great playing on it now but psp is good when on own plus you can still watch telly at the same time.

A Wii!!!!!!

I finally bout one last April and it is a lot of fun.  Most of the games require to get up off your butt, which I think makes it a different choice.  Granted, it is all the movement of your wrists, so you can sit, but you'll find it is more life-like if you go through the natural motion standing up.

Then if you get the Wii Fit, you can do things like ski, which requires you to stand on the Wii Fit and lean to the side, shift your weight front, back, and side to side to move, all while moving your hands in the rowing ski position in order to move fast or slow.

It's like a work out, I highly recommend the Wii. (and the Wii Fit).

Oh, and if you are playing with another person or a group of people, it just becomes a laugh-fest because as you look around the room you all look crazy going through these motions.  Tons of fun.

I think you should get a PSP because you can go anywhere you want with it.You could even watch movies on it.I always wanted to get one.  

I am a big fan of playstation. I used to have PS. I have a PS2 and a PS3.  A nintendo wii is not portable. You can share it. I like the nintendo comany alot too. I have a gamecube and a gameboy. I have play the  nintendo 64. They were alot of fun. I think that you should get get a wii so that your brother won't fight over it

Definitely get the PSP.

I was really disappointed with the Wii, it's not that much fun and actually really difficult to play on some games and you end up getting frustrated.

Go for the PSP - you can take it on long car journeys, play it tucked up in bed, take it wherever you want!

Wii!

I have the wii, and a PSP, and the wii is so much better!  The games are more fun, and it's more entertaining.  The PSP get's extremely boring, and there aren't even as many games for it as there are for the wii. Plus, the wii games are alot more fun, trust me, I own both.

Well I'll try to help you unlike the other people who only uprate Wii answers and downrate PSP answers...

The Wii and PSP are VERY different. Some people complain about the PSP because they think it has no good games. Well they probably never even played one. There are lots of good games on the PSP.

The Wii gameplay is very amazing. The controls have motion-sensor and you can even point at the screen. There is an online service, but it requires 16 digit friend codes to add friends. You can store photos in the Wii, but not much else. You can buy classics games from the Wii Shop Channel. The Wii is built more for gaming.

The PSP is a portable machine. Sure, it's gameplay is just an original PS2 controller. But a PSP has so many features. You can listen to music, view videos, view photos, stream live TV, browse the web, listen to internet radio, and so much more. PSP are definitely recommend for long car trips and such.

If you just want a great gaming experience, then get a Wii. If you want a portable device that has a lot of features, get a PSP. But, like you have said, you get your very own portable console if you get a PSP. You will share the Wii with everyone if you get a Wii.

both! The psp is awesome but so is the Wii. It depends, are you going to be home more to play the Wii, or are you looking for something you can use on the go like a PSP? I personally love the Wii, but if your never home to play it, i would go with the PSP :D
