I have a game cube and a wii, so I can play it on both. But I am wondering if they made a lot of enhancements on the wii version compared to the GCN version. I like the game cube controller better than the wii remote and nunchuck so that is why I am asking, does the wii version feel normal to use.

  1. why dont u get the gamecube version and play it on the wii lol

  2. the wii version duh.....

    LOL!!!!

  3. Id go with the wii version.

  4. Definitely get the Wii version. TP uses the Wii remote and Nunchuk to their full potential and it seems like your in the game. It's pretty unique how you swing the remote to swing your sword and you aim with the remote to aim with the bow.

The controls may seem confusing at first but you'll gradually get used to them.

  5. p**p Master, Twilight Princess is my brother's favorite game.

  6. the wii version...

    duh

and to make it even funner

    jet the zelda kit

    (a shield and sword)

  7. I really like it and it's a lot easier/more natural to aim. You can do an instant spin attack too (you don't have to charge it). The graphics are exactly the same, though, if that's what you mean, except you can do it in widescreen. I recommend getting the Wii version.

  8. There are only two differences between the two versions:

    1) The Wii map is mirrored from the Gamecube map to make Link right handed. So west and east are flipped (north and south stay the same).

    2) The Wii version uses motion controls.

That's it. There isn't any extra content, and the graphics and sounds are exactly the same. If you want to get really technical about it, the Wii version is just a port of the Gamecube version...because Twilight Princess was originally developed exclusively for the Gamecube. When the game's release date kept getting pushed back, Nintendo realized that they could feasibly put Wii controls into the game and release it as a Wii launch title (which made a lot of the people who reserved Gamecube copies pretty angry...myself included).

I personally prefer the Gamecube version. The motion controls in the Wii version feel tacked-on to me. I do like the ability to aim the bow/hookshot using the Wiimote, but the Gamecube controller just feels better to me. I'm sure that when Nintendo develops a Zelda game specifically for the Wii, it'll feel a lot better...but for now, I recommend just getting the Gamecube one.
