Should I get this for my car?

Question

So I'm going to get a car (not sure which one), and I want to get a new radio for it. I found this

and I only picked this because it looks good. I want to know if it's good to get because honestly, I have no idea what the features even mean. Basically, I want a radio that not only looks good, but plays CDs and music from my iPod, so I want to know if this radio can. Also will it go in my dashboard? Also, if you can tell me what the other features of this radio are that would be great.

If you recommend any other radio please tell me (but I really don't want to spend much more than $100)

Its hard to say if it will fit in your dash or not, because you havent mention what sort of car you own..

It is a standard DIN size, so most likely it will fit.

There is a front input, so you should be able to plug your ipod into there if you have the right cable.

It will play CD's and MP3's so its gonna do pretty much what you want, and the price is right.

Pioneer is a good brand, I've used them for many years with no problem.

I have an older version of this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_1110...     it is very user friendly and i got this so i can play my ipod   http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6907...  it is sweet cuz u don't need to mess with the ipod once it is plugged in it routes the controls through the deck and charges your ipod as well.

Pros: excellent look and sound

Cons: sometimes the faceplate falls off

i would not recommend this radio simply based on the fact that it only has 1 preamp output.

if you ever plan on installing an amp into your system for better sound, only 1 preamp will hurt end proformance of your sound system.

having 2 or more preamp outputs will give you more control and adjustability of you sound system and increase the quality of sound.

well idk about the radio but u should get a ford focus they have this thing called the sync system. u plug ur ipod charger into it and it will play your songs from the ipod.
