Question:

Should I get verizon phone maintenance plan to fix my inside wiring

I have had static in my line and I believe I've narrowed it down to the inside wiring. Its expensive to have them come and fix it, so should I get their "inside wiring" plan. Far as I can tell, they just require 30 days before they'll come out. Has anyone had to use this service or can think of anything that could backfire on me? Thank you.

  1. In the long run it would be cheaper to just hire a wiring contractor to replace the phone wiring or add a jack or two. When I did side-work I charged $50 a drop (jack). If you just don't want to deal with the hassle the inside wiring plan may work for you. I've always felt that inside wiring plans were a scan, but I feel that way about most "insurance" type deals.
