Do you think I should lift weights to be ready for footballIm starting my first year of football(freshmen). Im 5'6 and 180 pounds. Our school doesnt MAKE us so its our choice. Ive never had to lift weights until last year during gym. And never since. But now that ill be playing football everyone is saying I should. I could only lift 90 pounds(100 too but I had trouble) and I could only bench 25. Yeah my upper body strength sucks. What do you guys think I should do? I thought about not going at first and working on it by myself at home but then id just leave if it was hard or id do something wrong so. Help?
