Should I give my brother-in-laws girlfriend advice?

My brother-in-law is dating a really nice girl. I really like her and she is easy to talk to. Last night she told me that things were not going very well with them. She told me about some of the things that were happening. I felt really bad for her because my brother-in-law also dated my sister and a lot of the things she is going through are the same as the problems my sister had with him. The problem is she doesn't know that he dated my sister. Should I give her advice or stay out of it?

I would say give her advice but don't tell her about your sister because that might just cause more problems period.

Also, be careful with How you say things because it might bit you in the butt. I have tried to give my brother in laws now ex girlfriend advice and she turn it around to negative stuff and they blame me for there break up. Which i had nothing to do with.  She cheated and lied about things to him. And because she cheat she blames it on me. That ***** is stupid i confronted her about it but she denied, she ever said it was my fault in front of my brother in law and she just made herself look like and idiot as well as my brother in law for believing her. The funny thing is they still are like **** buddy's even if she has another man, he's in jail and she has his name on her wrist. They have a messed up relationship...

Talk to your husband and see what he says. He can give you some good advice too. Because he knows your brother in law a lot better.

Tell her you don't feel comfortable giving her advice because he is your brother-in-law and then stay out of it.

Under the circumstances, it seems better to stay out of it.  I think you could tell her that it is too close, however, rather than just turning her down.
