i am taking chemistry in the summer and it is a 6 week class. The first week passed by and I thought I did fine except for the fact i got a D + on my first test. We have 5 more tests left and the exams are 75 percent of the final grade. the other 25 is classwork etc. I am taking it in college and I am worried if I get a C in that class it would not be good for my cumulitive gpa !!! help !!! should I drop the class??? I took chemistry in high school and got a low B and then a high C second semester. I am going to be a high school senior next year and I decided to get a head start on college by taking chemistry. It turns out that college chemistry (introductory chem) which is said to be equivalent to high school chemistry is HARD and I have to memorize new terms that I did not have to know for regular high school chem !!!what will be the wise thing to do ?? drop the class in order to maintain a good cummulitive gpa in order to transfer to a good college?
