Ok So I've had 2 ultrasounds where they think they saw boy parts. one was around 14 weeks and they didn't want to say for sure but the "bump" between the legs was "highly suspicious". I had one yesterday where the doctor was unsure until the last minute. The baby was being uncooperative and then I poked at my belly and he moved for a second or two and the doctor said he thinks he saw a "s*****m and dinky" (you have no idea how hard It was for me not to bust out laughing at him after he said that!!) anyway....He did ask me what they thought it was before so I'm afraid he just said he thought I wanted to hear lol. I said "gimme a percentage?" He said he was 80-90%

I already have a girl so if it ended up being a girl I'm prepared with all of her old stuff.

What do you think? Baby Boy??

  1. Yeah, I'd go buy some blue stuff, just maybe a few things so he won't have to wear pink home from the hospital.

  2. They usually only say about 80-90% to cover their backs with an ultrasound. ive worked in a baby shop for 2 years now and only known it once that parents have had to come back and exchange clothes because it was wrong. if you want to buy some blue then why not - its exciting! just dont go crazy just in case and keep the tags and reciepts. At the end of the day though girls can always wear blue without people not paying too much attention. (put a boy in pink and its a different matter ha ha!)

  3. At 14 weeks, with my 3rd child, we thought we saw a p***s---even the tech---, but at 19 weeks, we discovered 'he' was a she! We'd seen the umbilical cord... With my 4th child, baby was being uncooperative at 16 weeks, yet, for a split second, I could see between the legs, and saw girl parts... I was pretty convinced, and it's been confirmed, many times since then. :)

  4. yeah! go for it!

i found out with my son around 16 weeks that i was 'probibaly' carrying a boy. I bought boys things and thankfully i did have a boy. The way i see it, the sonographer has seen boys bits and girls bits lots of times a day they know exactly what they are looking for. Yes. they do occassionally get it wrong but i bet they get it right far more often than they get it wrong.

Ive been told twice this time round im carrying a girl and i sure hope they are right as my house has been transformed into a pink fluffy one lol.

get a gender scan if you want to be even more sure.

  5. Buy green.
