I was on the pill for years and I went off when my husband and I knew that we wanted children. I then realized that I do not get regular periods actually I get it every 60 to 65 days. I had a little bit of trouble getting pregnant do to the fact that it was so irregular and I had to wait 2 months before I would ovulate again. I did have a little girl and she was born on Halloween she is awesome the best thing that I could ever ask for. I am by no means ready for another child for at least another year to talk about starting to try. My debate is should I go back on the pill now or not? Any thoughts or personal experience would be appreciated.

So my question is should I go back on the pill and if yes for how long?

  1. I personally don't think that you should go back to the pill because if you stay on it to long it will make you infertile at the health unit they have this stuff called VCF vaginal contraceptive foam and  right before you have s*x squirt a little in you v****a and it kills the sperm i've been doing this for 2 year with no protection and havn't got pregnant yet

  2. why don't you look into an IUD, the copper one. You don't have to worry about it for up to 10 years and then when you are ready you can get it taken out and conceive right away because there are no hormones involved. plus, the reason i got it was so that I could track my ovulation and period timing so that when I was ready to conceive I'd be ready. I also had problems with long ovulations...

  3. try to avoid the pills if u can.i have PCOS.that means that pills were my only choice if i wanted to have regular cycles(my periods were as irregular as your's)but now when i m trying to conceive i m told by docters that the regular use of pills have had a lot of negative effect on my body & delayed my chaces.so look at other ways & try to avoid pills.what if u want another child in the future?dont take chances with ur health.
