Should I go into Dental Hygiene? I live in Michigan...?

I know that jobs are scarce in Michigan right now and times are tough. I am going to a school with a 2 year program for dental hygiene. I want to make sure that I am going into something that will actually get me a job after graduation. If there is any dental hygienists in Michigan or who just could help me out, PLEASE!!!!

Yes this field is good to go in, there is a very big demand for hygienests and you dont only have to limit yourself to private practice or working for someone else you can also go teach at the universities etc. So go for it.
