Should I go on TOP THRILL DRAGSTER?!?

I'm a real coaster addict. I've been to Cedar point annualy for a couple years now. I've been on Magnum XL-200, Maverick and Millennium Force...not to mention pretty much all the other ones.

The ONLY one I haven't ridden is TOP THRILL DRAGSTER. I've been terrified of it since it was built. Every year when I go to CP I say to myself "THIS time I'm gonna ride it FOR SURE" but when I finally get there, I get to scared to ride it.

The thing I'm concerned with is the acceleration. I've been on Wicked Twister, but the acceleration on that is half of what it is on TOP.

I just feel like it's gonna be TOO fast, but I also want to ride it SO badly!

I NEED SOME ADVICE PLEASE!!!

Yah. I'd go with riding it. I asked the same question  but am NOT a roller coaster person. My friend went on last week and said it was amazing! She was also afraid of acceleration. I think you should ride it.....But I won't be riding with you! :P

OMG! i was in your exact situation about 2 weeks ago.  I have been there five times this season and every time i tell myself I'm going to go on, but don't end up actually doing it.  Finally, I worked up the courage and just did it.  I actually rode front row, too. haha. It was soooooo worth it! I was missing out on the best ride of my life!  I was sorta crying and my hands were shaking and i was basically FREAKING OUT and all i did was hold on to the handles for dear life and keep my head back.  IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! that doesn't even describe it. The only "scary" part is waiting to be launched.  Then when you go, it's amazing. The view at the top from the front row is amazing. Once, you're at the top, your initial fear is gone. The drop and the end is nothing.  I mean I can't believe I missed out on that for so long. At the end, i looked at my friend and and screamed and said we're doing this again! haha.and we did. just tell yourself it will be over in 17 seconds and if i don't like it, i'll be fine and i just won't ride it again. thats what i did.  Don't worry. You'll have so much fun!

I havn't been to Cedar Point in years but I heard that its one of the top favorited rides. Yes you should! You should go onto the Cedar Point website. www.cedarpoint.com is the link I think! Gives all info on all rides. When you see something move on the track come towards you which is like a chainlift  be ready. You'll launch in about a couple of seconds. I heard its really fast too. You go about 150 mph in just a few seconds.

YES!!!  I've been on it several times and I loved it.  Granted, it goes so fast the ride seems like it's over before it begins, but the speed, AND THAT HILL!!!! are so worth the wait in line.  I highly recommend it.
