My kid and another kid are good friends for years. Just recently I found out that his father works at my work. We talk at work if we can. Then he will come over to pick up my kid, should I make sure to go outside to say hello? I never go outside. I didn't before. when I drop off his kid he's never around or when I pick him up. I'd like to know what you think. We are both married it's not like we think anything. I'ts just now I feel like we know who each other is now.

  1. I think parents should ALWAYS go out and greet the parents who are picking up their kids.  It's rude if you don't.

  2. yes say hello its no big deal gosh!

  3. I would,if you didnt it would look rude...Or that your too busy which could look "s****."

  4. Honestly I hate it when I go to pick up someone's child for them to come over or go to drop them off and the parent does not come out. It would be nice if they came out and said "thanks" and to let me know when they want their kid home by if that hasn't already been arranged. I just think it's common courtesy to go out and at least wave and greet the person.

  5. I can see how you wonder this. Sometimes you just do your thing... but than when something knew is in the mix, you rethink what you are doing. I would just keep doing what you are doing, but throw in a friendly wave if he looks your way.

  6. Just do as you always have.

  7. of course you should go outside when your child is picked up by anyone. The same as you should go to the door to pick up your child at someone elses house.
