Should I go to Bora Bora or Jamaica?

Question

The thing is bora bora is 3x more than jamaica. I can go to Jamaica once for the next 3 years or should i save all that money and go for a once in a lifetime in Bora Bora?

I think it all depends...if you are going away for a getaway with your friends then Jamaica is the place to go. If you want a romantic secluded spot with a lover like a honeymoon spot then Bora Bora it is! and if you aren't married yet and anticipate doing so then save Bora Bora for that... I hope I helped

Jamaica. Jamaican Grand Resort to be exact. They have them in Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, and etc. My family is from Jamaica and it's a beautiful place.

BORA BORA!!!  I've been to Jamaica twice, and it's one of my favorite places on earth, but if I had the chance to go to Bora Bora, I'd be there in a heart beat.  Some of my friends say they didn't like Jamaica because of the extreme classism of Jamaica (very rich...very poor)...it's basically a third world country, but I found the country to be quite enchanting.  The closest I've been to Bora Bora is Hawaii...if that's any inclination of how Bora Bora is..I think you'd enjoy it more, but I also think it's what you're looking for in your vacation....and are these your only two choices?

Both are fantastic.  Depends on how much money you have.  Bora Bora is 10 times more expensive than Jamaica.  How much time do you have to spend because it's going to take you longer to get there too, in travel time.  Both have excellent resorts, outdoor adventures, etc but it will definately be a money factor.  If you have the money for either one then go to a local travel agent if you need more detail about the area to help you decide on which destination is best for you and whomever is going with you.  You want to get your moneys worth so you should know what's there for you.

As everyone said, both are fantastic tropical paradises.

I'd go to Jamaica one year, then save up for the Bora Bora trip. You have to do both! Totally different experiences. If you can afford it and wait, do Jamaica, then save up for Bora Bora.
