Should I go to Florida in Hurricane Season?

I am planning to go to Universal Studios Orlando in Florida. But there is one problem. It is Hurricane Season! Should I go???

Go in July and you should be safe the season peaks in late aug early sep, and we are a few weeks into the season with no activity not even a depression.

Sure.  The chances of a hurricane hitting Florida is rather slim, and you will have plenty of warning before it even gets close.  I lived in Florida on the coast for nearly 10 years and really only got part of one hurricane, Ivan in 2004.  Honestly, they aren't all that bad as long as you aren't right in the direct path.
