Should I go to London to see Avenue Q?

I want to see avenue q a lot, i live in the US so i was thinking of going to see the one on broadway but I've heard the London one is better should I go to london to see it? if i do would i be able to meet some of the cast members? 'cause thats another thing I'd really like to be able to do, and also wherre would you say the best seat are, thanks in advance

  1. If you've got the money, why not?  Although, having seen it both in London and in New York, I wouldn't necessarily say London was better, just different.  If it was me, I'd go and see it on Broadway and save my money...London is an awful long way to go just to see one show.

See it in New York.  I have studied theatre in London and frequented broadway and it's my experience that musicals are always better in New York and non-musical plays are better in London.  If Avenue Q is your main concern definitely see it in New York, but if you're just up for a trip to London I would see several shows, starting with The Woman in Black.  You may like to see Avenue Q in both places and do your own comparison.  London also has fringe theatre in the form of Theatre Pubs, which are just about the neatest thing ever.  Here are 2 of my favorites: The White Bear http://www.whitebeartheatre.co.uk/ and the Landor http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lam...

    So if you only care about the one show - do NY, esp with the economy and the terrible exchange rate you will save tons of money and see the better show.
