Question:

Should I go to Sam's club to get contact lenses?

I just got glasses about 3 years ago, and now I want contact lenses. I'm a member at Sam's club, so I was thinking of getting them there (I'm guessing it'd be a lot cheaper) But I'm not quite sure how that works, and how much I'd be paying for them. Do I have to bring my prescription to them and they just order them for me, or can I just show up and they figure out my prescription, and do everything else. I've never been to an optometrist at like Wal-mart or Sam's club, so if anyone has, can you tell me what you do, if you want contact lenses? And how much appoximately I'd be paying? (For the service and the actual contact lenses). Also, how much would it cost to fix my crooked glasses?

  1. Yeah great place to go, along with Wal-Mart. Exams will run you between $70 and $90 for a prescription for glasses and Contacts. Exams come with trial lenses. They do not charge for eyeglass repairs. For over three years to have an exam, you will need the full exam. Hope I helped!

  2. I wouldent get anything that touches more than your skin there, about the glasses not sure.
