Should I go to direct tv or buy new tv's for the year 2009?

all tv:s are going into HD. My questions are what would be the better choice.

well i have cable tv...n i beleive i'm staying with my cable company. My advice to u is to go with direct tv.Depending on how many tv sets u need it may be cheaper.Look into it n wat ever is cheaper n convinient for u, go with it.

If you're satisfied with your current tv, and you just have an antenna, just buy a converter box, you can get a coupon from the government and it will end up costing you about $10.

You will also get 2 or 3 secondary channels for each station that you currently get.

This depends on where you are living. If there is digital broadcasting in your area or in near future for the same, better go for  HD TV. In fact HD TVs will receive anlaog antenna signals also.

for seeing pic. from external equipments like DVD player, using a HD TV is advisable than a normal one. As such better go for HD TV.
