  1. private school

  2. Public School

  3. If you have a choice then I would select the private school. I have know kids that went to private school and then allowed to go to a public school when they entered high school. They went right back to public school the next year. They did not enjoy their experience in th public school system. Of course that is going to differ greatly depending on where you live (big city, small town etc...)

  4. Which school will give you a better education and more prepare you for later schooling/life?

It sounds dumb, but if you pick the school that will challenge you more academically, then you will do better later on in life. I went to private school my whole life and there were times when I absolutely hated it- having so many rules to follow and a uniform to deal with, but I am very grateful for the experience and knowledge I gained from it now while I'm going through college.

  5. Wow, you're a lucky girl if you've got a choice!

I think you'll have to look at the pros and cons of each: Public Schools are known for not being as academically competitive as Private Schools, but they may offer a wider range of extracurricular activities and athletic programs.

Public schools are generally larger than private schools, which means that your classroom is bigger.  In some cases, the private school teacher student ratio is 1:15 or 1:20 in comparison to public which can be 1:30 or 1:40.  Which environment will help you be the most successful student?

What are your goals after high school? Private schools tend to boast about how many of their graduates get into college--both 2 year and 4 year.  In fact, many of them will produce a list of colleges who have accepted their students.

Good luck with your decision. Take care.

  6. Depends on a lot of things. Private schools cost a lot of money and many times they have a better academic record. Sometimes they don't offer as many classes or extracurriculars, though. But each school is unique. You need to compare the ones you're interested in.

  7. i've alway said that when i have kids, i'm putting them in a private school.

but i have enjoyed being in a public school, so you should just go to a public school.

  8. Public School because theres more opportunity's and alot more people also your gonna have a great time.
