I am on the move for the 4 time in a year. I am currently living at my fiancee's brothers house, and it's time for me to move out. and my fiancee found an apartment for me. he said it's 565 with gas, and water included. and i make less than minunim wage (i started before it went up) so i only get about 450 every two weeks. but i also have to pay for car inusrance. (about 115 dollars a month) and i would also like to go to school as well (that should be covered in my fafsa) and i'll need to pay for books.

do yout hink i should get that apartment and get two jobs and skip completely out on school? or should I gert a cheaper apartment where i pay for gas and water, and go to school??

please help

  1. Get a cheaper apt. and go to school.

  2. go to school.

    chase your dreams.

if you don't, you'll be stuck woking two jobs and nothing to show for it.

  3. go to school

you can get loans or even grants for low-income students

if you get loans you'll have to pay the money back over time but if you qualify for a grant you'll get free schooling and books which you won't have to pay back...it's worth a shot to check out if you're serious about going to school

  4. i most definatley think u should go to school.

Because think of this...with all the gas prices rising, the U.S is progressing into a recessiion...so when you're going to school..u pay your rent...and gas and water...and get an EDUCATION...education is the key success to lifee...and once u have this..maybe u cld move out of tht apartment and gather enough money 2 buy a HOUSE....so i think u should go 2 school.

    Hope i helped =]

  5. you should definitely go to school!!

it's the perfect opportunity to make a better life for yourself. Then afterwards, you could probably get an even better apartment

  6. School.

With an education, you can get a better job, and you can boost your income.

  7. Careful about not going to school. If you work for this year, then it'll be hard to save up for school, and you will get into a bad loop of never upping your education, and you'll be stuck in similar jobs for the rest of your life. I'd say go look for a new job at the new minimum wage. When you get an interview, tell your employer that you have an interview and ask if they'll up your wage above the current minimum wage. Since you'll be making more money at the new place, they should pay more than that to keep you if they're interested at all. Either way, you're making more money than now. Move out, get a new job AND go to school so you can get a better job in the future. Good luck!

  8. If you have any desire at all to go to school I think you should do it. You can always get student loans to help pay for books and even rent. You are allowed to use your student loan to pay for anything you need help paying for. But I think school is really important and it can help put you in a better position in life so I think if you want to do it then you definately should. : D

  9. Go to school because you'll end up most likely end up making as much as you would with both jobs after school and without high level schooling in 5 yrs with the current economy you might end up in worse conditions.

  10. I would do whatever i could to get some student loans and get into school...it is so worth it in the long run! Alot of student loan programs let you defer payment until you graduate...if you qualify for that, you wouldn't have to risk the payment on the apartment and do your homework in between jobs on lunch etc...that's what i did and i'm thankful i went ahead and got it completed, but i'm not going to lie, it was hard and long hours!

  11. Personally I think it would be in your best interest to go to school. Once you are out you will have many opportunities.

  12. Abandon the car and walk to a closer school

  13. Why don't you try to find a studio apartment with all bill paid then you will know what everything but food and car insurance and gas and school will run you.
