Question:

Should I go to work?

They won't tell me if I will be able to take the day off on Monday until like a day or 2 before but I want to go to Las Vegas from Friday to Monday. I need to book the hotel right now otherwise tomorrow it'll be more expensive. Should I just book it and not go to work on Monday and make up some excuse?

  1. If you have a good working relationship with the company you work for/your supervisor, and if this trip is something you really need to do for yourself, then just call in.  If you do not have a good record coming to work on time or just calling in sick, the company may hold that against you.  Plus, if they know you asked for that time off and they could not give it to you and you call in, the company may be suspicious.  Really, the ball is in your court on this decision.

  2. yea,  they already know u want the day off so if u don' t show up it's no surprise.

  3. Call in sick!

  4. Just quit your job and stay in Las Vegas and find work there.

  5. It depends, do you have enough money to live without a job for a while?

Do you need this job and most importantly can you go to Las Vegas another time?

Ask yourself that first then decide we cant do that for you after all if we decide wrong its you that faces the consequences not us.

  6. it depends on how much you need/like this job.  they'll hate you for skipping out on monday if they do schedule you
