Should I go with my friends or go figure skating?

Question

My friend asked me to go to the Ymca with her and a bunch of other friends.

We go there a lot and I also don't like to be left out of things with my friends.

I also really enjoy figure skating and there is skating at the same time.

I don't know which one to do! I love my friends but I also LOVE figure skating. I'm confused.

Well, it depends wherw you wanna go! if that session is very important well, go 4 it and tell your friends you will go with them another day! at the end its your decission!=D

I personally would go skating just because its pretty much the extent of my life.

However if you dont wanna end up like me, aka good skater, no life, just go with your friends to the Y and have some fun for once!!

You know what's funny? Someone posts a question like this every couple of days.  

If you ask a bunch of figure skaters they're always going to tell you to go skating.  Go skating!

I would perhaps go out with them and figure skate any time you can fit it in.

I guess for me it'd depend on the figure skating session.  If it were a public session on a weekend . . . where it's crowded and I wouldn't really get in any real skating, then I'd definitely go with my friends.  I know I wouldn't be missing out at the rink!  

But if I really needed the skating practice - like if I had a test or competiton coming up - I'd go skating - especially if there's a freestyle session at that time.  That'd be less than an hour . . . so if that were the case, maybe you can catch up with them a bit late at the YMCA.    

Then again (from your additional details), if this is your last chance to get your skating in before any schedule changes, then go skating!!  I'm sure your friends will all go out together again plenty more times anyway.  

Next time, maybe ask your friend and the other friends if they would like to go skating with you.  If they go, you'll have the best of both worlds at the same time - wink!!

When you say there is figure skating at the same time do you mean you have a lesson or freestyle practice thats already paid for or do you mean there's public skating going on?

don't skip lesson or practice because thats  a waste of money to your parents and you said you go the Y a lot.

But if its only like public skating go with your friends. Even though skating is awesome, you shouldn't only skate all the time, people need some change in their lives.
