  1. I wouldn't get AAA just because of the car registration.  Car registration really isn't all that hard.  You already have insurance coverage and roadside assistance.  That's really all you need.  Don't waste your money.

  2. you don't need it.

  3. If you would be getting AAA just for registration, I wouldn't pay the cost. Check with your agent to find how your roadside assistance works. Many require you to pay and then you get reimbursed later. This can be a real pain if you don't have the money with you at the time. Ask what the limits are also.

  4. Any roadside assistance offered on insurance policies is fine, yet they charge you for towing over a certain limit.  AAA roadside membership has been great!  I take care of all my DMV there, they handle everything but dealership registration and drivers licenses.  You can book your vacations and get great prices.  They also have the Plus plan which gives you up to 100 miles of towing per card.

  5. AAA plus will tow your car up to 100 mile from where it was picked up.  They also send out people to help if your car battery diees and anything else.

My starter went out last week and they came and towed my car to the garage of my choice!

  6. YES, one time i got my key locked in the car and the insurance said they couldnt help me, then i called AAA and they came right out

  7. Well most of my fam/freinds have AAA as extra percautions. It really does work tho, my bestfriend had an 93 T-Bird that kept breaking down for one reason or another... So I would def. say get it and keep it with you at all times even if your just a passenger in sum1 elses kar....

  8. AAA does not register cars and is not a "replacement" for the DMV. They are a roadside assistance and trip planning service. If you already have that with progressive, you do not need AAA.

  9. AAA membership is great.

Travel Agency, Roadside Assistance, DMV paperwork, maps, AAA discounts, Travel Guides, etc.

  10. If you buy AAA, you are just wasting money because you already have what AAA is mostly about; Roadside assistance

  11. AAA is mostly about road side assistance.

So if you get that from Progressive, you can forget about AAA.

    Good Luck...
