Does a guy need to be asked specifically for help or should they offer out of the kindness of their heart? Yesterday, I locked my keys in my car, I had two guy friends come up to me and ask me what I needed or I was going to be okay, I told them I would be fine I would call roadside assistance and wanted to ask them to stay and wait with me until the roadside came but instead I said its okay I will be fine. It was in a parking lot that would be empty shortly due to a meeting being over. Should they have offered to stay or was it really necessary to specifically ask them to stay?

  1. maybe ..

  2. Well, they asked what was wrong, but since you put on a happy face and said you'll be fine, they thought you would be. If you wanted them to stay - ask them next time. They asked what you needed and you could have told them that it would be great it they stayed because you didn't feel safe alone.

Guys can't read your mind honey! They hear what you tell them.

  3. the younger the guy, the less thoughtful they will be, so it may have not even occured to them that they should have stayed with you.

Also they may have thought you didnt want their company. You could have just casually said " you guys can wait with me if your not busy."

they did ask if you needed anything etc, so they sound like decent guys :)

  4. guys don't like being asked for help or to stay by like clingy girls its good you didn't ask they think your independent and thatd good
