Question:

Should I have broken up with my boyfriend if I suspects that he's been lying to me but I have no proof?

I always suspect that he's not being completely honest but I never have enough proof to prove it. I once caught him in a lie in the very beginning of our relationship and I haven't been able to trust him every since. The problem is that not much has changed since the break up except the fact that we haven't had s*x. Today while hanging out with him I realized I want him back and I know he feels the same way but I'm afraid that if I continue to accuse him of lying he'll hate me.. What should I do?

  1. You have problems with trusting people. You don't say what lie he told early on (no baby, your butt ain't big, or mom always lets me take money out of her purse). You have to work on what is stopping you from trusting him. There isn't anything he can do, this is all on you.  Take some time to think this through.

  2. Relationships should be built on trust, if you can't trust him then it won't work, simple as. You need to be able to trust him and convince him you trust him, or just move on.
