Question:

Should I have to pay for Nikkah?

I want to get married ... I can't afford a wedding but I want at least make my relationship halal by doing Nikkah. Should the Mosque be asking me for £200/300 just to perform it?If yes what's that money for?

What about people that can't afford that kind of money?

  1. I am not a Muslim to offer any suggestions. but Prophet Mohamed had  organized the religion so simple and helpful to everybody so that the poor and under privileged are not fleeced, as far as i know.

    Islam is complicated by its imams so that many have strayed away and do many things which are 'haram' in Islam. like all the terror activities, killings innocent , old, women and children which was prohibited by the Prophet.


  2. That sounds crazy. These imams seem only interested in lining their pockets. Try going to one of the big mosques and hopefully you should be able to get it for no costs (apart from maybe the costs of the certificate).
