Well I found a baby lizard that's really hurt and he doesn't move just lays there but he is still breathing but I was thinking of putting him in this 1.2 gallon tank so when he feels better I'll let him go but I'm not sure if I should and if I do what do they eat?

  1. Well personally I would try to care for him , but first I would put him in a jar with holes in it and a bottle cap with water in it for him to drink out of and another with crickets ( dead) in it . Then, I would go to the library and check out some books about them to fond out what type of lizard he is and all about him like his needs and plenty more . I would keep him for like a week  and then once he got better I would do some research on some places that take in animals like I know one maybe you could give him to a pet store where he could be with other lizards just like him and have some company . That's what I would do .

  2. I would. It would be really cool if you could save him. Just keep water in the tank for him and offer some bugs for him to eat.

  3. It would be best to leave it but, you could buy some small crickets from petco and you will need a heat lamp too... maybe a shallow thing of water, like a bottle cap or a jar lid.

  4. Well...I would, but we are set up to care for reps. Sadly, there's probably not much you can do for him, depending on his injuries. It may just be better to leave him be, unless you can give him the proper care. I don't know what type of lizard he is, but some eat bugs, like crickets and such. It's sweet of you to want to help. Good luck to you and him! :)
