Should I hire a Teacher or get taught online ?

Should my mom hire a teacher or a online program ( k12) because my mom can't teach me so are you allowed to hire a teach. in canada

Your mom can teach you even if she didn't finish highschool. She'll have a teachers guide and answer keys for what ever curriculum you choose, and you can use DVD lessons or work with other homeschoolers for the things she doesn't feel comfortable teaching. My mom isn't that great at math, but I'm already doing PreCalculus and she helps me just by watching the DVDs with me and using her teacher manual and answer keys to help me when I need it. She learns with me.

Being taught online is much  more easier and cheaper. What you could do is your mom could teach you stuff such as math, while you could be taught other subjects online.

u should definitely seek a good tutor. personal interaction in education makes things so much easier compared to an online program. but make sure that u are hiring a professional tutor who knows what he is doing.
